HAIR UPSTYLE WORKSHOP
Makeup School Sydney is an accredited teaching school and offers workshops in hair upstyling. Makeup School Sydney is widely acknowledged as one of the best in Sydney. Within 15 hours of hair upstyling courses at Makeup School Sydney, you will learn the essential techniques of hair styling within the fashion industry and hair upstyling for the wedding industry.
THE TEACHER
The teacher is international Makeup Artist Jay Jay Rauwenhoff. Jay Jay was originally trained in Paris and has since worked for 20 years as a beauty Makeup Artist. She is a registered Training Officer with a Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment.

DURATION
The Hair course runs for 3 hours per week over 5 weeks and takes place on Wednesdays from 6.30pm to 9.30pm (See Calendar for more details) or you can choose the very popular intensive 3 day Hair Upstyle Workshop.

SUBJECTS COVERED
Tools of the trade
Jay Jay will explain the tools of the trade in fashion and wedding hairstyling and how to use them in Week 1.
Hair Products
Jay Jay will explain the hair products for this hairdresser course and how to use them in Week 1.
Hairstyles covered in the course are:
- Chinion
- French Role
- Elegante 50’s down style
- Natural Twisted Bun
- Finger Waving
REQUIREMENTS
During this 5 week hair course, Jay Jay recommends students to practice a total of 9 hours.
Each student needs to supply her own model or hair mannequin to practice on during the 5 week Hair Upstyle Course.
COST
The hair course costs $950 for the full 5 weeks (5 lessons, each of 3 hrs, over the 5 weeks) or the 3 day intensive course.
There is $250 discount off this price for enrolments by August 31st 2010.
A deposit of $250 is payable when you apply and is deducted from the full amount on commencement.
There is also a pay-as-you-go facility.
ON COMPLETION
On completion of the Hair Upstyle Workshop students receive a Statement of Participation.
